Mark Magill – Chief Executive & Artistic Director

Mark joined LOST Theatre in 1989 and became Artistic Director in 2006 when he helped the company move into its new purpose built venue. He is proud to have directed various shows with the company including ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, ‘Oliver!’, ‘Last Call’, ‘Heart of Darkness’, ‘To the Woods’ & ‘Blue Remembered Hills’. Outside of LOST he has worked consistently on the London & Edinburgh Fringe. He established his own theatre company during the nineties staging over a dozen new plays and gaining a Time Out Critics Choice in the process.

James Thacker - Associate Director

James joined LOST in 2013 as FOH and Bar Manager to our award winning Bar 208. Since then he has progressed to become Associate director with the company. His directing credits include Omar for the 5 Minute Festival, Harold Pinter’s The Dumb Waiter for the One Act Festival, Jez Butterworth’s Mojo and Choreographing Jerry Springer the Opera. As the buildings Creative Designer he was responsible for costume and marketing design for Jerusalem, Mojo, Jerry Springer the Opera, Norma Jeane the musical and Let the Right One. Outside of LOST James is a Professional Actor and Contemporary Dancer having performed in LOST Theatre’s production of David Eldridge’s Market Boy, The Band Plays On at the Greenwich Theatre alongside other T.V and film projects.

Martin John Bristow - Production Manager

Martin studied at both the RSAMD in Glasgow and the Actors Studio Drama School in New York.  As Company Stage Manager, Martin has worked on two UK tours with The Reduced Shakespeare Company as well as Aladdin with Polkadot Pantomimes.  He has been Stage Manager for UK and Germany on Julius Caesar (Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts), the UK tour of Shhh! (C-12 Dance Theatre) and Dick Whittington (Those Magic Beans).  Lighting Design credits include StringFever - Ten out of Ten UK Tour; Simpatico (Tabard Theatre); Strawberry Starburst (Brockley Jack); It’s A Wonderful Life, and A Christmas Carol… More or Less (Bridgehouse Theatre); Isolated Incident (Dance Attic); True Brits (Bush Theatre); Amaka (Brockley Jack).   Martin has also worked as a Technician at a variety of London venues including The Yard, The Kings Head and The Pleasance.  Martin is also a reformed Actor, Director, Voice Coach and Lecturer.

Hugh Hastie – Duty Manager

Hugh (also known affectionately as "Shug") has had a wide and varied career in the Performing Arts spanning over 25 years which has included acting and crew for Stage, Theatre, Film and Television.  He has worked in both Front of House and Backstage regularly in Glasgow and London (as well as the odd tour).  He has a passion for all things Classical, and regularly collaborates with companies in a Dramaturgical context.  He has worked in Arts Administration and Building Management, and is delighted to be combining his previous roles at the LOST Theatre

Trustees

Julian England - Chair

Joined LOST in 1985. He is a Director, Writer and Actor. He has worked extensively for the LOST Theatre Company in all these capacities and is now Chairman of the company’s trustee's committee. In Pantomimes he has played Baron HardUp in ‘Cinderella’ and the Emperor Chop Suey in ‘Aladdin’. His acting roles include Solyony in ‘Three Sisters’, Dr Prentice in ‘What the Butler Saw’, Dogberry in ‘Much ado About Nothing’ and the Interrogator in ‘Closetland’. His directing credits include ‘The Seagull’, ‘Hedda Gabler’, ‘Can’t pay! Won’t pay!’, ‘Leonardo’s Last Supper’ (Best Direction award – LOST One Act Festival). He has also written, directed and performed in the comedy sketch shows ‘The Leisure Virus’, ‘Spasm’, ‘The Invisible Bob Show’ and currently the ‘OXYshow’ at the Canal Cafe. He is currently co-producing and performing in his brand new venture 'Date Horse' at The Griffin (Vauxhall). Julian is an avid bike user.

Maurizio Molino

Maurizio joined the LOST theatre company at the tender age of 13, where he attended drama classes and appeared in the main company productions whilst learning the art and craft of Acting. Maurizio has turned his hand to all aspects of the theatre from Acting, Stage Managing, Directing, Producing to designing and rigging Lights, Sound, Costume, and Sets. From sweeping the corridors to cleaning the facilities to serving coffee and drinks during the interval.  Maurizio also ran and published the monthly LOST newsletter for a number of years and was Chairman of the Committee on two ocassions.  Maurizio graduated from a three year Drama and Theatre Diploma course at The London Academy of Performing Arts and has been working (as an Actor and DJ) on the Professional circuit ever since.
