Musical Box Festival / What We Need From You

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

So, what do you need to send us?

• A synopsis for the full musical

• A Libretto/script for the extract submitted

• A recording of the submitted extract. This does not need to be a high quality recording, but the Festival Judging panel will need to hear the music. (Please do not worry about the quality of this recording – you will be judged on the quality of the writing alone)

• An outline as to the future for the full musical

Please note that if your musical is accepted into the Festival and wins through the initial rounds, you (or performers of your choice) must be available to perform at the Grand Finale on 25th April.

If your musical wins the overall Festival, you will need to be available to work with LOST to expand the extract into a full musical to be performed at LOST.

CRITIQUE

Each show will be given a critique by one of our industry expert judges.

REHEARSAL SPACE

All shows will be able to rehearse at either LOST (208 Wandsworth Road) or So & So Arts Club (6 Fredericks Place) for free. All shows will be given at least 6 hours on stage, plus another 6 hours in one of our rehearsal venues.
