We promised you pictures and video from our team of young people and practitioners who are making 'Tomorrow I'll Be Happy' and we aren't going to disappoint!

We were lucky enough to get a visit from not only the producer of the whole festival Rob Watt but also the playwright Jonathan Harvey as well. This was at once both great and nerve wrecking for the cast. From the word go they've been amazed by the quality of the play they've been working with. The chance to not only meet Jonathan but also perform his play in front of him meant a huge amount to them and they were also incredibly keen to get it right.

Luckily for us Jonathan loved the work he saw, but don't just take our word for it! Listen to his thoughts on the play and our production below:

I mentioned last week that before I came to LOST I was in the dark about the connections program, so we asked Rob Watt the festival producer to tell us more about connections and what it means to him. His thoughts are below:

We also took the time to catch up with the director Anna Jordan, understandably very proud of the young cast that she has led.

And finally the person who made all of the above happen for LOST, our artistic director Mark Magill, I've not been at LOST that long but its obvious that Mark's got an enduring passion for bringing young people into the arts and driving them to the highest standards:

All told it was a great day - no doubt the first of many for the young cast who will soon be headed to the National Theatre to perform in the new venue The Shed. There's a lot of hard work for them to get through before then but they're dedicated kids and they're very keen to impress the audiences at the national the way they've impressed all the industry professionals that have seen them.

Keep checking back here for updates and more pictures and video about their experiences, and contact us on Facebook for more information about LOST and the future of the show.
