Cultura Cabo Verde presents the Second Edition of the music competition Relevação Vozes da Diáspora- London Auditions.

Young people will take part in a music competition to select a representative from the UK Capeverdean Community to sing at the Finals of the International music competition 'Festival Revelação Vozes da Diáspora' in Luxembourg in July.

The matinée event at the Lost Theatre will showcase the talent of young Capeverdeans from the UK and will bring a surprise guest artist to perform live. The event will also count with a performance from Cultura Cabo Verde’s own youth group, Tradison Cabo Verde,  who will present a contemporary choreography of traditional Capeverdean styles.

The London auditions will be supported by a jury made up of three names of the Lusophone music industry. Contestants will perform two songs each'a acapella', one in English and one in Capeverdean Creole.

The International Festival Revelação Vozes da Diaspora is an initiative by the Capeverdean charity  Infância Feliz and it aims to promote Capeverdean music and to bring together young Capeverdean from across the diaspora in an effort to share a common culture and language.
